WHY DO YOU NEED A WATER FILTER?

I grew up being a farm boy and always having great drinking water from a 300 ft. deep well, out in the country, boy was that water good.

Then I moved to town, went to work for the water department. We had great water and did not have to chlorinate it in 1963 but as times changed that city did have to chlorinate their water. Ten years later we were hearing more and more about problems in the water, some caused by the chlorination that was supposed to help us. One of these is the by-products from the chlorination. Multi-Pure came along in 1970 when two brothers in southern California saw a need for healthy water and decided to do something about it. I remember sometime mid-seventies I went to a meeting put on by a Multi-Pure distributor I but didn't do anything. I guess it was early nineties when I became a distributor and bought a filter. Since that time I have used Multi-Pure filters exclusively and used them in many parts of Asia and Central America as well as here at home. I have never got sick when using the Multi-Pure but I have gotten sick when I didn't! Disclaimer I have never got sick when using the Multi-Pure but I cannot tell you to use it for contaminated water. We can only tell you it is for use on a system where the water is treated. I am not sure we are not at more risk drinking treated water than some that is contaminated like you get in the third world.
